You are so right, Adriana! I heard a study on the news this week confirming that!

Keep us moving! :-)

Hi Adriana! Wanted to drop you a note to let you know how thankful I am that you're working with me.

Even though we've only trained together for a couple of months, I (along with my doctor!) are delighted...and surprised...with the results I'm already seeing. I've been plagued with neck and shoulder pain for 8 years, and finally was diagnosed with severe tendinitis. Thanks to the re-posturing training you do with me, my pain has now reduced substantially, and for the first time in almost a decade, I have mobility in my shoulder that I didn't have before.

Also loved that I was able to already to multiple workouts on with the Russian kettle bells...when just a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't get through one.

So I've got the best of both worlds - post-injury results *and* amazing body conditioning. I'd highly recommend you to any prospective client.

You picked a great topic to discuss,,,There are 33 joints and about 20 muscles just in the foot
! Each muscle and joint requires purpose to help you maintain balance and coordination. The more we engineer ourselves away from mother nature(artificial support) the less chance we have at functioning at optimum performance..Dancers,martial artist, gymnast and yogi es are great examples of some of the many how train barefooted..Great book to read about the Tarahumaras is "Born to run"! You rock Adriana!!!

it makes sense in terms of where the foot strikes first - instead of the heel taking all the shock!
can you run this way with shoes on - rather than barefoot - brrrrr - cold!!! and ouch!!! or ick....what did I just step on!

You are right about the sitting and not moving. I move a lot for my work but it is not the same as working out. I need to get that back into my life on a more regular basis.
